If content feels overwhelming, you're overcomplicating it. Here's the simplest possible starting point for landscape company owners.
I once watched a landscape owner spend three weeks planning a "content launch" — branding, intro music, color grading, the whole thing. He posted twice and quit. Meanwhile a competitor down the road filmed a 22-second walkthrough on his phone, posted it raw, and booked an estimate from it the same week. That's the entire lesson.
Why content feels overwhelming
Because you think every video has to be perfect. It doesn't. Some of the highest-performing landscaping content on the internet is literally a phone, one thought, one project, and one quick story.
The minimum viable post
- Pick a project you finished this week.
- Stand next to it and answer one question on camera — "why did we do it this way?"
- Post it. No edit. No music. No intro.
Momentum matters more than production quality at the beginning.
When to upgrade your standard
After 30 posts. Not before. Until you've posted 30 times, you don't have enough data to know what "better" should mean for your audience. Until then, the only thing that matters is the rep count.
