How to Capture and Upload Landscape Project Photos for Social Media

This is the only reason your content calendar collapses by week three: nobody on your crew captured the right photo on the job site. Not strategy. Not algorithm changes. Capture. Fix the on-site workflow and the rest of your landscape company's content system runs itself.

The 60-second on-site capture standard

• Before photo — wide shot of the existing condition, taken from the same spot you'll use for the after.
• Process photo — one shot of the step the homeowner doesn't see (base prep, drainage, irrigation tie-in).
• After photo — same angle as the before, taken in even light (early morning or overcast is best).

Uploading to the content board

1. Drop the raw photos into the Airtable Inbox view from your phone — no renaming, no tagging.
2. During the weekly content block, tag each photo by project, service, and authority angle.
3. Link the photo to the hook or template you'll use it with so it's ready to schedule.
